Radio Bloomsday

A salute to Bloomsday – the worldwide June 16th annual celebration of James Joyce’s classic work Ulysses.

We will feature readings from Pacifica Radio’s long-running Bloomsday production that has been joining the celebration since 1981. Our thanks to original Executive Producers Larry Josephson and the current team led by Janet Coleman and Caraid O’Brien, for their support in making this episode of From the Vault possible.

The original productions were performed live at the Broadway performance venue called Symphony Space and broadcast live on WBAI. Then in 2008, the production left the stage and became Radio Bloomsday.

The new Radio Bloomsday 2012 production can be heard on your favorite Pacifica Radio Station on Saturday, June 16th.
