Rank Choice Voting in Missouri and Kansas

Rachel MacNair with Better Ballot KC discusses rank choice voting with Radio Active Magazine regular Spencer Graves.

Better Ballot KC collected signatures for an initiative to implement rank choice voting in Kansas City, Missouri.  They are now asking KCMO residents to contact their two representatives on the City Council, asking them to support this initiative.

Meanwhile, Better Elections Missouri have an initiative on the August  4 primary to replace partisan primaries with open top-four primaries for state executive, state legislative, and congressional offices and use ranked-choice voting in general elections.

And Rank the Vote Kansas is working to educate Kansas residents on rank choice voting and encourage citizens to ask the legislature to enact rank choice voting.
