EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
For the show on 4-25, we will play from our recording at the 2022 Climate Action Summit April 9th. First, you will hear Ulysses “Deke” Clayborn, Region 7 Administrator of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development introduce U.S. Rep. Emanuel Cleaver, II, Missouri 5th Congressional District; next, Mercedes García Pérez, Head of Global Issues and Innovation of the European Union Delegation to the United States addressed what unites us; and finally, Lisa Rodriguez, News Director at KCUR, moderated a discussion between U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids, Kansas 3rd Congressional District, and Brian Platt, City Manager of Kansas City, Missouri. They show leadership in action.
Climate Action KC brought together another impressive summit! This year’s event, focused on the theme “What Connects Us,” was presented in partnership with the European Union and the International Urban and Regional Cooperation program.
