Remembering Bill Onasch

We recognize and honor the life of Bill Onasch who died last year. Son of a KC meat packing worker, Bill cut his teeth on radical unionism and grew up to be a member, leader and organizer in several unions. He worked tirelessly to grow a labor party in the U.S. His writings circulated widely. Bill was a genuine working class intellectual.  We have stories about Bill from Javier Perez, VP Amalgamated Transit Union, Mark Dudzig, Labor Party, Ed Bruno, United Electrical Radio and Machine Workers, friends Tony Saper, Jeff Humfeld, Adam Shils, Judy Ancel, and Bill’s wife Mary Erio.
