This week our guests are Ricky Kej and Lonnie Park. Ricky is an internationally renowned Indian Music Composer, Environmentalist and Professor. Ricky has been mentoring a group of talented young refugee and asylum seeker musicians, ages 15 – 25, primarily from Afghanistan and Burma. Together, they have created a multi-language version of Ricky’s song of hope and resilience, “Shine Your Light.” Multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Lonnie Park is “one of the hardest working guys in the music business.” He is the studio talent behind many notable artists in genres from European prog-metal, new age, hip-hop, rap, gospel, to country.
