In the first half of the show, we discuss a viral incident where police were called on a Black couple shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond for having expensive items in their cart. We discuss the harmful stereotypes associated with Black people and how they shape our lives.
In the second half of the show, we talk about how Black protesting is often rebranded as rioting, how rioting is not chronicled with an emphasis on fear when the (incredibly frequent) riots are based on a sports team winning or losing, and ask about the moral implications of allowing ones preconceptions and stereotypes to shape their world view.
