Siren Song is an eclectic mix of music from local, national and world artists sprinkled with the occasional interview from movers and shakers.
This week’s edition of Siren Song, hosted by Diana Linn of the Tasty Brew Music Radio Show, will feature new music released by some of Kansas City’s favorite indie musicians and Showcase artists from the recent Folk Alliance International Conference in Kansas City — the world’s largest gathering of the folk music industry and community (crossing a diverse array of genres including Appalachian, Americana, Blues, Bluegrass, Celtic, Cajun, Global Roots, Hip-Hop, Old-Time, Singer-Songwriter, Spoken Word, Traditional, Zydeco, and various fusions).
You will hear new music from hometown favorites Katy Guillen and the Drive, Nicole Springer, Jessica Paige and Alisa Jefferson. Sonic introductions from around the globe including Vanessa Lively, Sarah King, Stellar, Treya Lam, Gisun, Lore, Katharine Priddy and more!
