Greet the sunrise this Saturday with a blues groove on The Crosscut Blues Show as we feature music from Lisa Biales, John Nemeth, James Montgomery Band, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Candye Kane, James Armstrong, Joe Louis Walker, and Keb’ Mo’, In the Crosscut Blues Spotlight we’ll feature Sister Rosetta Tharpe, the god-mother of Rock ‘n’ Roll, and John Brim, whose music career extended from the early 1950s with Chess Records through European tours in 2002. We will also be bluesical with classic blues (Slim Harpo, Bill Sims, Otis Rush, Angela Strehli, Derek Trucks, Sweet Betty, Robin Rogers, and more) and local Kansas City artists.
