The Tasty Brew
“The Tasty Brew” is an eclectic mix of roots music formed by the shared and varied traditions that make up the American musical melting pot.
Sadly it has been announced that the once in a lifetime voice of Linda Ronstadt has been silenced by Parkinson’s Disease. Linda’s gift has endured through the decades and to Baby Boomers, her voice is one of the standards by which all other vocalists were and are measured. Tuesday’s Tasty Brew is not a memorial to this wonderful talent as she of course is still with us; her songs have always been in rotation on the Tasty Brew and always will be. This week songs will include collaborations with Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton; some of the sweetest singing this side of the ether.
