SURVIVOR ADVOCATES RESPOND TO BILL COSBY’S PRISON RELEASE

In 2018, actor and comedian Bill Cosby was sentenced to 3-10 years for sexual assault. The AP described his conviction as “a turning point in the MeToo Movement, to hold powerful men accountable for sexual misconduct.”

On July 1st of 2021, Cosby was released from prison because of a technicality. Today we have reaction and analysis from two survivor advocacy specialists.
