EcoRadio KC is a magazine show, including live segments, prerecorded stories, and interviews. The weekly explores our interdependence with the rest of the world, showing the connections between the ways we choose to live and the health of the whole community of life.
First, Brent Ragsdale interviews Jack Vandeleuv Hub Coordinator for Sunrise Movement KC. We will be discussing what the Sunrise Movement is about and particularly their support for the Green New Deal. Their website says: “We’re building an army of young people to stop climate change and create millions of good jobs in the process.”
Second, Craig Lubow interviews Linda Langston about the environmental hazards of flooding, including prevention and mitigation. Linda is director of strategic relations for the National Association of Counties and was previously a county supervisor in Linn County, Iowa.
