WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
Carolyn Gage’s Sermon on Toxic Self-Sufficiency draws on the work of the late American evolutionary biologist Lynn Margulis, known as the primary modern proponent for the significance of symbiosis (as opposed to competition) in evolution. Margulis was an advisor to NASA. Her books include the title Symbiotic Planet. Gage applies the model that Margulis attributed to Gaia to human relations – especially, but not limited to, lesbian relationships to the world. Carolyn Gage is a playwright, performer, director and activist, and a partly-comic and partly-serious preacher. Her works can be found at CarolynGage,com.
