The "Take Two" short segment reviews independently made films and art-house movies currently showing in Kansas City. Take Two first went on the air in 2012 and is co-hosted by Russ Simmons, producer of the “Freeze Frame” short segment, and Susan Sanders.

In the social drama “Dark Waters,” Mark Ruffalo (“Avengers: Endgame”) stars as real-life corporate lawyer Robert Bilott who waged a 20-year war with chemical giant DuPont. The company was accused of knowingly poisoning the people of a small West Virginia town with chemicals that leaked from its plant that manufactured Teflon. The cast also includes Anne Hathaway (“The Hustle”) and Tim Robbins (TV’s “Castle Rock”) and was directed by Todd Haynes (“Carol”).
