Take Two
The "Take Two" short segment reviews independently made films and art-house movies currently showing in Kansas City. Take Two first went on the air in 2012 and is co-hosted by Russ Simmons, producer of the “Freeze Frame” short segment, and Susan Sanders.
The segment airs at the following times:

Keira Knightly (“The Aftermath) and Ralph Fiennes (“The Grand Budapest Hotel”) start in the true life whistleblower drama, “Official Secrets.” It’s the story of Katherine Gun, a British intelligence specialist who had to decide whether or not to risk her life by exposing incriminating evidence leading up to the invasion of Iraq. Fiennes plays noted lawyer Ben Emmerson who came to Gun’s aid. Director Gavin Hood is best known for his acclaimed South African drama, “Tsotsi.”
