Three of the tastiest songwriters in real Country music will be visiting Kansas City this week – Jason Eady with Adam Hood on their Southern Brothers from Another Mother Tour and Courtney Patton (aka Mrs. Jason Eady). Jason embraces multiple styles of old school country music, including honky tonk, all with a writer’s eye for detail and the voice of a natural storyteller. Adam’s songs recount the beautiful mess of blue-collar love ala roadhouse rock, storyteller folk and timeless two steps. The legendary Willie Nelson and Leon Russell have each picked Hood for respective national tours. Courtney is a very talented songwriter with an expansive voice that combines a sweet, subtle and soulful approach to country music that will leave you wanting more. This tasty trio will be at Knuckleheads Thursday Night January 29. Their spins on this week’s Tasty Brew will be ably supported by other great Americana/Roots artists like Doug Seegers, Jim Lauderdale, The New Basement Tapes, Holly Williams, Lucinda Williams, Travis Meadows and more!
