The Forum
The Forum is a platform for the discussion of significant issues. Guest speakers typically focus on issues of political, social justice, moral, educational and artistic significance. Each presentation is followed by questions and discussion.
One o
f the annual traditions for the All Souls Forum has been a movie-themed Forum on the day of the Academy Awards ceremony. In the last year we have missed seeing movies in theaters and many of us have filled our hours at home by streaming movies and other content.
One of the favorite venues we have missed is the Fine Arts Theater Group owned by Brian and Ben Mossman. Their theaters, the Glenwood and the Rio, were the places to see indie and art films and documentaries. We have missed the Fine Arts Theater and they have missed us.
Brian Mossman will talk about movies, how the theater group has adapted during the pandemic, and what the future may hold for how we see films. Hosted by George Baggett, the discussion will be moderated by Diane Cassity.
