Lynn Marie Norris will talk to people from Cultivate KC about the benefits of local food, why Cultivate KC supports urban farmers, and the importance of building up our local food system in relation to resilience to climate change. Guests will include:
- Katherine Kelly – Cultivate KC’s executive director and co-founder, and a farmer herself.
- Mark Gawron – The manager of Cultivate KC’s farms and food systems.
- Dan Krull – The manager of Cultivate KC’s Westport Commons Farm, and a Soil Food Web expert, science and biology enthusiast and herpetologist.
