“The Innocence Project” with Arthur Chaykin

The causes of wrongful conviction are systemic and relieving them can elevate the system itself. Arthur Chaykin is the Executive Director of the Midwest Innocence Project which is dedicated to investigating and exonerating innocence claims in a six-state region. He will speak about the injustice of wrongful conviction, its legal and societal causes, and about the available remedies to reduce its frequency and to ameliorate the harm caused by the injustice.
