Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre
Kansas City Actors Radio Theatre presents new performances of classic radio plays of intrigue, mystery, suspense, and comedy from the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s in rotation with a 10-part original historical drama written by local playwright, actor, and director Forrest Attaway. Featuring local actors and musicians and hosted by actors John Rensenhouse, Cinnamon Schultz, and Walter Coppage.
This week Kansas City Actors Theatre premieres the second and final part of Bram Stoker’s “The Judge’s House,” this Friday at noon on KKFI 90.1 FM.
KCART returns to “The Judge’s House,” written by master of horror Bram Stoker. Malcolm Malcolmson is trying to study for his upcoming exams, but his evenings are plagued by the rats who occupy the judge’s house. After receiving some helpful advice from a doctor Malcolm sets out on trying to end his ongoing nightmare. Soon, Malcolm Malcolmson will find out for whom the judge’s bell tolls.
Featuring Matt Schwader, Hillary Clemens, Cinnamon Schultz, Shawna Peña-Downing, Brian Paulette, and Victor Raider-Wexler. Directed by Matt Schwader, sound design and engineering by Thomas Newby, and hosted by Walter Coppage.
