Mark and Maria play the newest releases from KC area bands: Jorge Arana Trio, Mark Lowrey, MY BROTHERS & SISTERS, Diverse, Reach, Minden, Expo ’70, Schwervon!, Erik Voeks, The ACB’s, Monta At Odds, Everyday/Everynight, Dolls on Fire, Tiny Horse, Claire and The Crowded Stage, Andrew Foshee, and Victor & Penny.
At 8:30 Maria & Mark welcome the Kansas City based band, Making Movies who will play LIVE in our 90.1 FM Studios. Enrique Chi plays guitar and sings lead vocals, Brendan Culp plays drums, Diego Chi plays bass, and Juan-Carlos Chaurand plays percussion and keyboards. The band will talk about their brand new release, “A La Deriva,” produced by Steve Berlin of Los Lobos. We’ll also talk about their show this Saturday, Jan. 19, at 9:00PM at Kill Devil Club, with Hermon Mehari and Tim Braun.
