WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
In September 2023, a Superior Court judge in Ontario ruled that Canada’s 2014 law outlawing the purchase of sex did not violate the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. That law was loosely modeled on Sweden’s 1999 legislation – AKA the Nordic Model. This program includes excerpts from Ekberg’s 2005 presentation to the Canadian Association of Sexual Assault Centers promoting the Nordic Model, with excerpts from the Q&A and updates to 2023. Includes recognition of controversy.
