The Tenth Voice • Feb. 22, 2020

Hello everyone! On this month’s Trans Talk, we are going to start out with the transgender news of the month, then talk with some special guests, one by phone and one here in the studio – first we will talk to Rachael Cady, an accomplished KC-area freelance lighting and projection designer who served as the resident designer for the Unicorn Theatre on Main street for 10 years. She is the new chair of the IT committee for the Kansas City Center for Inclusion, and is going to talk about what is going on at the Center, as well as a bit about her personal life being out and proud in the entertainment industry.

And speaking of being an out and proud entertainer, we will then talk with Mazzy Mann right here in the studio. Mazzy is a KC-area performance artist, musician, and co-founder of the UN/TUCK queer/trans collective and band leader of the ten-piece group HANNAH. Mazzy is going to give the 411 for the 1’s and 2’s on the queer/trans music scene in general and more specifically on her upcoming album and live intro on March 8.

Fiona will finish up the show with the vital Community Calendar Update.

We do hope you will be able to join us this Saturday, February 22 at 1:00 pm on 90.1 KKFI, Kansas City Community Radio! You can also stream the program live on kkfi.org, or via various apps on your phone.
