The Tenth Voice (LGBTQIA)
The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBTQIA+ people in our community in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world online. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Transgender & Nonbinary people, Queer, Intersex, Asexual & Aromantic people and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice radio show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA+ Kansas City Community.
Greetings! It is the 1st Saturday of a brand new year and time again for this week’s edition of The Tenth Voice -The Middle Way hosted by the Goddess Prince from the Land of the Rising Sun: Inoru Wade.
This week Inoru will talk about holiday traditions here in the United states and in their home country of Japan. Inoru will also dive into what it means to be an activist in today’s climate and how anyone that wants to make a difference has to elevate their game and stop playing Tic Tac Toe while the folks that run the system are playing 3d Chess. Inoru will also dive into the The Movement Advancement Project and what it means for our community. Finally we also discuss the passing and eventual formation of the LGBTQ+ commision in Kansas City
