Welcome to this week’s episode of The Tenth Voice, where we discuss news and issues and items of interest to the LGBTQIA community.  This week is on Bi George, join George Thorman as she talks with another amazing guest, Rohn Dennis, and gives us a round up of the LGBTQIA+ news for the month. Rohn Dennis has been an active member of the LGBTQ+ community since the early 1970’s, with the origination of the  Gay Peoples Union to the Gay Service Center.

Along with others he celebrated the first gathering of the recognition of the Stonewall Freedom Riots, now referred to as Gay Pride celebration, and lasting for a month of recognition. He was a founding volunteer of the Good Samaritan Project.

Rohn is also one of the founders of Kansas City’s very own Unicorn Theatre. He has spent his life working in the performing arts – acting, producing, writing, and directing. In his spiritual quests he has studied and twice served as a chaplain at Unity Temple on the Plaza. Currently Rohn is a member of ‘Shots In The Night Radio Theatre’ being presented every second Thursday of the month starting at 7pm right here on 90.1 FM KKFI Kansas City Community Radio!
