The Tenth Voice (LGBTQIA)
The Tenth Voice is the Kansas City area's only weekly broadcast created by and for LGBTQIA+ people in our community in the Greater Kansas City area and around the world online. Listeners can tune in each Saturday at 1:00 PM. Each week our team of hosts and producers present interviews, information, music, news and features especially important to Lesbians, Gay Men, Bisexuals, Transgender & Nonbinary people, Queer, Intersex, Asexual & Aromantic people and Allied collective communities. Since 1989, The Tenth Voice radio show has documented and informed the LGBTQIA+ Kansas City Community.
Welcome to this week’s episode of The Tenth Voice, where we discuss news and issues and items of interest to the LGBTQIA community. This week is the fifth Saturday of the month, which means that we are lucky enough to have a bonus episode of Bi George, so join George Thorman as she talks with guest Taryn Kelly . Taryn Kelly is a licensed real estate agent, an educator, the co owner of Mind Body Balance KC, and an international speaker. Taryn is very involved with the KC community, is a member of a variety of boards and local programs, and holds several specialized certifications. Taryn seeks to serve the well-being of others, and loves to entertain individuals with comedy. They will be discussing fair housing practices, owning a small business, and why we don’t drive Subarus.
