Since 1973 New Dimensions Radio/Media, a not-for-profit membership organization, has been producing and distributing the "New Dimensions" radio series heard worldwide. Each week, this life-long learning program series presents leading-edge thinkers, scientists, artists, healers, ecologists, spiritual leaders, and social architects in award winning, deep dialogues.
Nature and art share the quality of perseverance and optimism. “Art is optimistic. No matter what emotions a piece of art may convey, art-making itself is a refusal to be plowed under by doubt, political systems, poverty or any number of other things.
On the August 31 show, our speaker will be Patrice Vecchione who is a poet, author, and artist. She teaches creative writing retreats, collage and poetry workshops. She has also worked with children, leading classes in poetry and the imagination in elementary, middle, and high schools.
