Sprouts Radio from the Grassroots is a 30-minute weekly program featuring radio programs produced at community radio stations or by other independent producers from across the country and sometimes around the world.
“This Has Happened” is a collaboration between two people joined by one event, Jeannine Chappell & David Brehmer – a horrific collision that killed Alexander Chappell, Jeannine’s son and David’s close friend and band mate.
We retell the story of the crash, David’s rehabilitation, both of the protagonists’ grieving process, and the eventual bond between the two — with poetry and descriptions of paintings interspersed.
