September is National Infant Mortality Awareness Month. On Saturday, September 7th, our guests will be Pat Martin, Mary Jean Brown, and Anne Biswell, members of the staff of Mother & Child Health Coalition, who will talk about infant mortality, and what’s being done about it our community. Programs and initiatives of Mother & Child Health Coalition addressing fetal and infant mortality include KC Healthy Start, Fetal Infant Mortality Review, Safe Haven for Newborns and the Safe Sleep Task Force.
