At 10:30 Musician Ivory Black joins us to play LIVE in our 90.1 FM Studios. A native of Indiana, Ivory Black has lived a nomadic childhood, moving from Oklahoma to Missouri, family to family, before running away at 15. Now based in the Kansas City area, Ivory has been performing solo in songwriter circles and open mic showcases displaying honest lyrics, beautiful songs, looping techniques and layering rhythms. Currently working with AweStruck Studios in KC, Ivory released the debut single “Drive” in March, through CBM Records and is set to release a debut full length record soon. Ivory Black plays a special In-store performance at Records With Merritt, on Saturday, May 9 at 6:00 pm. Ivory Black also plays The Scene Rock Bar, in Independence, on Tuesday, May 12. At 11:00 we welcome back to the show, legendary Kansas City singer-songwriter, Howard Iceberg. Howard will share new music and talk about the limited edition release of a new songs, from his ongoing, never ending recording project. Howard will play a special CD Release Show, on his birthday, May 9, at 9:00 pm, at CODA, 1744 Broadway, KCMO, with special guests, Betse & Clarke. Howard will be sharing his CDs while supplies last.
