Mark plays music from the 9th annual Middle of The Map Fest, October 4 & 5, with tracks from: Clairo, Snail Mail, beabadoobee, Michigander, The Sluts, NuBlvckCity, Claire Adams, The Arsonists, stary, The Fey, Jo MacKenzie, Pala Zolo, Me Like Bees, and Various Blonde. We’ll also play new music from Ordinary Elephant.
At 10:00 we talk with Pete & Crystal Damore, who are Ordinary Elephant, the International Folk Music Awards 2017 Artist of the Year. This duo live on the road full-time, and are in Kansas City for a few shows. Ordinary Elephant will play live in our 90.1 FM Studios. Chris and Nathan are the founders and organizers of the Middle of The Map Fest and they’ll join us for 90 minutes of music and information about the 9th annual Middle of the Map Fest, Friday, October 4, and Saturday, October 5, featuring over 40 bands, in six venues, at Crossroads KC, 417 E 18th St, and surrounding venues: recordBar, The Brick, Josey Records, Messenger Coffee and Songbird Cafe.
