At 10:30 Writer & Poet Steph Castor shares poems from her second full-length book of poetry, KEEP HER IN YOUR MOUTH just released and published by Thirty West Publishing House (Philadelphia, PA). Steph’s roots are in music, but she has an impressive history of poetry performance across the United States, including opening for Andrea Gibson on a sold out show at Czar Bar in January 2014, appearances in support of the Midwest Music Foundation and Midcoast Takeover events, founding the LFK Poetry Slam at The Granada Theatre in Lawrence, enjoying a beer with beat poet John Sinclair and the editor-in-chief of High Times Magazine at Mama’s Crow Bar in Portland, Maine while on tour with Vigil and Thieves. Steph Castor is also the writer of Bedroom Music (Stubborn Mule Press, 2019). Her past work can be found in Curve Magazine, Guitar Girl Magazine, Guitar World, Tattoo.com, and many more.

At 11:00 KKFI’s Development Director Bill Sundahl joins us to share the details about the KKFI’s 16th annual (Virtual) Crossroads Music Fest, Saturday, September 12th, LIVESTREAM and LIVE BROADCAST, 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, sponsored by Community Lending of America and featuring Calvin Arsenia, The Royal Chief, Eddie Moore’s We The People, Julia Othmer, Laura Noble, Reptil, Ezgi Karakus & John Livingston, and Soul Servers.
