At 11:00, we welcome Spencer Brown who since 2008 plays Trampolina in the America’s Favorite Dragapella® Beautyshop Quartet, The Kinsey Sicks, performing all over the world, including Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live! With Andy Cohen, and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Spencer has worked with Late Night Theatre in Golden! Girls Gone Wild, Designed Women, The Alternative Facts of Life, Cluelessness, and A Scarrie Carrie Christmas Carol. Spencer wrote a stage adaptation of the film, The Rose, where he played the lead role originated by Bette Midler. For 10 years Spencer has performed as another Midler film role, Winifred Sanderson, in the “staged reading” of HOCUS POKE US! Spencer has performed in The Rocky Horror Show, and Psycho Beach Party, at The Unicorn Theatre, Union Station, The Folly Theater, Off Center Theatre, and Just Off Broadway Theater. Spencer Brown is best known as his drag creation, Daisy Buckët, winning: Queen of KC Pride 2008, The Pitch’s Best Local Album 2018, and Best 7″ Single, Best Cabaret Show, Best Drag Queen in Kansas City in 2019, 2021 & 2022. Daisy performs 3rd Sundays at Enzo from 5:00 to 8:00 PM with Mark Lowrey on piano. On September 19, Daisy released her second full-length album, WELCOME TO SPRINGFIELD, 11 songs made famous by Dusty Springfield.

At 11:30, Mark talks with IVORY BLUE about their new singles “In A World Like This” released on September 22 and “The Best of Life” released August 4. These new singles follow, “Control” from May 26, and “All Outta Love” from February 24. IVORY BLUE released their full length debut album COMPOUND LOVE on February 25, 2022. COMPOUND LOVE was in the Top Ten of WMM’s 120 Best Recordings of 2022. IVORY BLUE released their debut EP, Ready Get Set in June 2015. In 2017 Ivory was among 1800 artists/bands that competed in neXt2Rock. Ivory won local & regional challenges and advanced to nationals in Los Angeles to win the top prize. As a multi-instrumentalist, Ivory began using digital looping pedals to stack harmonies and guitar parts live on stage, giving their solo shows the feel of a full band.
