At 11:00 Mark talks with Joy Zimmerman about her new album, WHERE THE LIGHT IS, recorded and mixed by Maggie Heeren at La Luna Recording & Sound in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Joy Zimmerman and Maggie Heeren co-produced this album with mastering by Anna Frick of Ally Sound. Kansas City musicians were recorded at Weights and Measures Soundlab by Duane Trower. WHERE THE LIGHT IS will be officially released on August 4, 2023. Joy Zimmerman will be playing an Album Release Concert on Saturday, August 5, at 7:00 PM, at Green Guitar Folk House, 9400 Pflumm Rd Lenexa, KS.
At 11:30 hip hop musician, songwriter & producer Paris Williams shares details about his new single, “Pack Light.” The release is a follow up to his EP, REBEL HEART released on January 31, 2023 on Bitter Sweet Sounds. Paris Williams is a Rapper/Producer originally from Muskegon, MI. Previously Paris Williams released the single, Hopscotch” on June 21, 2022. He released,“Chunky” on April 20, 2022. He released the single, “Sunsets & Solariums (feat. Bloom Allen)” on October 21, 2021 through Bittersweet Sounds.
