ZAVA is a play on Taylor’s name where “AVAZ” translates as “voice” or “song” in Persian. ZAVA shares his soul through his love of music in intimate settings that explore the feelings and experiences of this human adventure and what lies beyond. ZAVA recently made his debut at The Folly Theater earlier this year with his show, FOREVERMORE. This show weaves a lifetime of stories together through classic jazz standards, futuristic R&B ballads, covers of songs by the Bee Gees and Spice Girls, all the way to Persian-infused dance pop. ZAVA will be making his debut at Gaels Public House and Sports, 5424 Troost Ave, KCMO, on Friday, August 4, at 6:00-9:00 PM. Social media: @thisiszava

At 11:30 we’ll talk with Stacy Busch, composer and performer who utilizes her voice with electronics to build unique sound worlds. Her work is a meeting point between art pop, avant-classical and singer-songwriter. Stacy is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of No Divide KC, an arts and advocacy non-profit that creates artistic events for social causes. No Divide KC & InterUrban ArtHouse presents The 4th Annual Queer Narratives Festival at The Black Box, 1060 Union Avenue, WEST BOTTOMS, KCMO, on August 4-5, 2023 at 7:00-11:00 PM.
