A couple weeks back, Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue put on an incredible show to a packed KC Live stage at Power and Light. The nearly two hour set featured high-energy jazz, funk, New Orleans flavored tunes led by Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and his backing band Orleans Avenue. In addition to being an incredible trombonist, Shorty is also an accomplished trumpeter and vocalist. He’s a man of many talents and the show is one you don’t want to miss.
