Tower Backup Project.

KKFI is here for you, and we want to stay right here for decades to come. That is why we are raising money for the  Tower Backup project
Our goal is to raise $40,000, before Dec. 31st, to purchase a backup transmitter, transmission line, and antenna that will be installed on our tower to keep our signal on the air come hell or high water, or in the event of a major mechanical failure.  Our current transmission equipment is very old.  Much of it has been with us since the very beginning of KKFI, and that old gear will need to be serviced and possibly replaced in the not-so-distant future.  The Tower Backup project will help keep us on the air through mechanical failures, power outages and any periods of servicing or replacing our old systems.
Tower Backup Project includes:
Auxiliary Antenna
Low power transmitter
Back up transmission line
Labor, Engineering & Permits
Generator (Backup Power)
