For most of his life, David Gregory was a secular journalist who didn’t think much about the sporadic Judaism of his youth. But by the time of he parted ways with “Meet the Press,” after facing low ratings in the host chair, that had already started to change. He now found himself thinking back to his earlier years, wondering what he really believed in, and what he would pass down to his children.
