Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Lambda Epsilon Chapter: Leadership and Service – Past, Present and Future

This weekend in Kansas City, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated’s Lambda Epsilon Chapter of Kansas City, MO, recognizes its 50th Charter Day anniversary, “Celebrating 50 Years of  LEgendary LEadership: Power of the Past, Force of the Future”.

Founded at Howard University on January 13, 1913,  Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated is an organization of college educated women committed to the constructive development of its members and to public service with a primary focus on the Black community. The Founders of Delta Sigma Theta envisioned an organization committed to sisterhood, scholarship, service, and addressing the social issues of the time. Since its founding, Delta Sigma Theta has become one of the preeminent service-based sororities, with more than 300,000 initiated members and over 1,000 chartered chapters worldwide.

Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. is a private, not-for-profit organization whose purpose is to provide assistance and support through established programs in local communities throughout the world.
