MOCSA StoryShare
MOCSA StoryShare is a new storytelling project for anyone who has been inspired or impacted by MOCSA’s mission. Selected stories will be housed on our website and shared on social media beginning in April as part of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) and will continue throughout the year. Our SAAM theme is "My Moment. Our Momentum."
Ellen is a licensed clinical social worker, a middle and high school counselor, a mother, and a former education and outreach specialist with MOCSA. Listen as she and her daughter, Sadie, share some examples of how they talk about personal safety at home. Recorded in February 2020 at KKFI studios in Kansas City, Missouri.
