Four Women for Conversations that Matter: The Making of America

“The Making of America,” explores myths perpetrated by our history books that present a history from the vantage point of the colonizer and victor and omits the real cost of millions of indigenous lives in the making of this country. It critiques the celebration of Columbus Day and Thanksgiving without presenting the true account of the carnage resulting from the arrival of the European settlers.
