This week on From The Vault we present Part 1 of The Ballad of Pete Seeger in honor of America’s music legend and folk hero, Pete Seeger who died January 27, 2014 at the age of 94. This Pacifica Radio Archives original production blends archival materials from our vault going back to 1949 with a 2006 intimate interview with Pete Seeger and actor producer director Tim Robbins. Grammy winning artist and friend of Pete, Ry Cooder introduces the program.
