Each week the Pacifica Radio Archives chooses a program "From the Vault" of broadcasts in a half-hour program.
On This Edition of From The Vault we present Me And My Shadow, an outstanding Documentary produced in 1975 that looks at how various agencies of the United States Government investigated politically Left leaning groups and individual.
While privacy issues have long been a concern here in the United States, the signing of the US Patriot Act in 2001 and the Patriot Sunsets Extension Act in 2011 have brought a new level of unease to all those concerned with privacy.
On This Edition of From The Vault we present this outstanding 1975 Documentary that looks at how various agencies of the United States Government investigated politically Left leaning groups and individuals.
This program was produced by Award winning Pacifica producer Adi Gevins, who is also The Pacifica Radio Archives’ Preservation and Access Project co-ordinator.
This program was also included as part of Pacifica Radio’s 40th Anniversary
project back in 1989, when they re-presented some of the most stellar programs in it’s then 40-year history.
