Latin Explosion
Latin Explosion is a musical journey through the vast world of 20th Century salsa, latin jazz and Cuban music with host Juan Montenegro. Latin Explosion originally aired daily on Chicago radio in the 70’s and 80’s. Different artists will be highlighted in every episode so each show will be unique.
Orquesta Aragón is a Cuban musical band formed on 30 September 1939, by Orestes Aragón Cantero in Cienfuegos, Cuba. We’ll sample some releases on the Discuba and RCA Victor labels that made Aragon famous in the 1940s and 1950’s, the glory days of Cuban music!
