A God-Sib’s Tale is a musical that weaves a compelling narrative through Jazz and Opera.  It is set in 1957 in fictional Floyd County, OH, where eight Black women gather in the sanctuary of their church. As race riots erupt and tensions rise, their stories unfold, revealing the extraordinary power of their voices and the capacity to heal themselves and their community. It is a tale of resilience and unity, a journey of strength, sisterhood, and the enduring power of the human spirit.
