WINGS
WINGS: Women's International News Gathering Service is an all-woman independent radio production company that produces and distributes news and current affairs programs by and about women around the world.
Producer Melinda Tuhus travelled to Arizona, Mexico, and the desert between to interview refugees and good Samaritans about what asylum seekers are fleeing from, what they face on the trip north, who helps them, and the ordeal of applying for immigration status.
