Latin Explosion is a musical journey through the vast world of 20th Century salsa, latin jazz and Cuban music with host Juan Montenegro. Latin Explosion originally aired daily on Chicago radio in the 70’s and 80’s. Different artists will be highlighted in every episode so each show will be unique.

The year was 1990, the band was in Seattle, and while the singer was from Venezuela, the rest of the great band were non-Latinos!
