“History isn’t made by kings and politicians, it is made by us.” So say the people who wrote Working Class History: Everyday Acts of Resistance and Rebellion. This week on the Heartland Labor Forum, we’ll hear untold stories of working class people who changed history. Then, we’ll find out who is making history in Milan, Missouri, where the Rural Community Workers Alliance is organizing and defending the immigrant workers who process pork for Smithfield. Tune in Thursday at 6pm, rebroadcast Friday at 5am.
