At 10:20 Mark welcomes Brenton Cook who is launching a new record label in Kansas City called Haymaker Records and members of Jorge Arana Trio join us to talk about, and feature music from their new release from Haymaker Records, called “Oso”. At 10:45 we’ll welcome legendary broadcasters, Darrell Brogdon and John Jessup who’ll join us to talk about Right Between the Ears playing July 18 through July 26 at the Heartland Forum (formerly American Heartland Theatre) for the 10th Annual Kansas City Fringe Festival.

At 11:10 Mark talks with Kansas City based playwrights: Michelle T. Johnson, Cynthia Hardeman, and Teresa Leggard about about their three-play premiere: GIRL ON GIRL, showing July 19 through July 26 at Just Off Broadway Theatre, for the 10th Annual Kansas City Fringe Festival.

And at 11:35 young playwright Schaeffer Nelson joins us to discuss his new play, Kings of Israel, playing July 18 through July 26 at Phosphor Studios, 1730 Broadway Blvd. Schaefer Nelson and Teresa Leggard also have additional works in MORE 4PLAY, July 19 through July 26, at Off Center Theatre, with Frank Higgins, Forrest Attaway, Directed by Scott Cordes, for the 10th Annual Kansas City Fringe Festival.
