JASON VIVONE the leader of Kansas City’s award winning band the Billy Bats hosts The Boogie Bridge on KKFI 90.1 FM Thursdays 4pm to 6 pm.
Originally from Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Vivone had family in Kansas City that indulged his fever for blues and blues based music.
“They would take me to record stores or whatever club they could sneak me into when I would visit. I’m proud to feature some of those same old records on the new program,” Vivone said.
As a musician, Vivone has toured primarily in the Midwest and the South. As a recording artist, his music has been downloaded and played all over the world.

Baturday Night Live: Saturday, October 22nd, Aztec Shawnee hosts Jason Vivone and The Billy Bats for a unique Halloween seasoned show. DWIGHT SMITH (Major, U.S. Army Retired) is an Equal Opportunity specialist for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in Region 7, Dwight prior to working at HUD served our great nation for 25 years in the U.S. Army. During his years as an officer Dwight served as a platoon leader, executive officer, company commander, public affairs officer, professor of military science and most recently as a special advisor to senior Afghan government officials for the NATO mission Operation Resolute Support. Mr. Smith has deployed 5 times in support of our nations interests to both Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as other areas deemed critical. Mr. Smith’s awards include the Bronze Star, The Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, The Meritorious Service Medal, and the Combat Action Badge to name a few. Dwight along with his wife are avid collectors of fine art, supporting local, national, and international artists, their collection (Collection Elizabeth Oran) has an emphasis on works by women and people of color.

DR. REGINA NOUHAN is a retired plastic and reconstructive surgeon, who has always appreciated visual art and how it intersects with our lives, prompting her to become a collector.
In addition to her current service as a medical consultant, a plastic surgery educational podcast producer, and a wide-ranging community volunteer, she has joined forces with Maj. Dwight Smith to produce the ArtMoves project. ArtMoves is a video and audio-podcast project which fosters the discovery of what inspiring and stimulating art we have right here in our own region, while helping provide a tool for all to enjoy it.

ROBERT GANN has developed years of exhibition skills curating works by mid-career artists. Serving as the Associate Director of Studios Inc, allowed many established ties within the arts community. Working as purchasing consultant and artist liaison helped to place many works in private and corporate collections. He has curated regional and international traveling exhibitions. Favorable exhibition reviews, by noted art critics, have found placement in national and global publications. Starting Habitat Contemporary Gallery in 2020, he has since opened an additional gallery space and through his organization started featuring artists in international art fairs.
Habitat Contemporary Gallery specializes in showcasing exceptional talent across career levels. The gallery has a reputation of placing a high focus on mid-career artists, who are collected and exhibited by museums, recipients of Guggenheim Grants, Pollock Krasner Grants and Warhol grants, and are internationally shown to name a few laurels of their achievements. Habitat Contemporary Gallery features artists crossing spectrums, from the critically acclaimed to the modern vanguard in the arts.
