Producer/host Maria Vasquez Boyd welcomes artist/educator Vania Soto, Belger Arts, and artist Michael Schliefke.
VANIA SOTO Kansas City Artist/Muralist/Art Instructor was born in Juarez, Mexico and began selling paintings at age 13. Vania describes her style as realism with a pop of surrealism. She was named Best Local Artist in 2021 by Pitch Magazine.
Soto is the owner/founder of Monarca Art Space (MAS) an affordable studio and gallery space in the heart of Downtown KC.
MAS offers unique studio spaces for Artists use on a month to month basis to work their craft amongst their peers. MAS also offers, gallery space for artists to display their collections and a gift shop to sell their work.

Holidays at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery is an annual tradition. Artists from across the country are invited to create artwork for the holiday season that make the perfect gifts for family and friends. Shoppers can choose from an array of unique ceramics, glass, metal, and more. Artworks will be available for purchase through December 31, 2022.

MICAHEL SCHLIEFKE is a Kansas City painter. When not working on new work, Michael puts together large art events and teaches private painting and drawing lessons.
I invite you to my 2022 Holiday Market at my studio in Northeast KC! It runs from Nov 26 – Dec 17 and features handmade art and art adjacent products from my studio!
In addition to real life, large paintings and drawings; a number of new drawings, prints and original t-shirts will be for sale. I will be debuting my Kansas City Magic Shrinks. It’s an old craft kit relic from the 70’s and 80’s where you color KC landmarks and then shrink the hard plastic in your toaster oven!
I’m also taking my deep, weird interest in Catholic relics to unveil a print-based art project that has been years in the making. It’ll be the crossroads for many of my odd interests: infomercials, Republican grift and empty consumerism.
The show will open on Saturday, November 26 from 10-7. The show will have open hours Wednesday – Friday 12-7 and Saturday from 10-7 through December 17th. It will also be open during those weeks by appointment. More information can be found at my website schliefkevision.com -Michael Schliefke
